LA Trade Technical College Foster Care

Dance with the stars and enjoy a night of entertainment and philanthropy.


Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) has helped almost 7,000 foster care youth over the last 13 years. But the state funding that was depended upon to deliver vital programs and services to these at-risk youth was the victim of budget cuts two years ago. So the College and its assistance programs were required to seek alternative funding sources in order to continue.

That's where Dancing with the Foster Care Stars comes in. This fundraising event is a night of dancing and fun for all who participate and attend. Last year, in its first year of existence, Dancing with the Foster Care Stars was a huge success. Besides being a fun evening for everyone involved, the proceeds from the event helped restore the much needed services that ultimately change the lives of the foster care youth who want to better themselves by enrolling at LATTC.

The second annual Dancing with the Foster Care Stars is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 6:00 pm on the LATTC campus. Tickets for this red carpet event are just $50 per person for general admission and $150 per person for VIP.
