Bringin' The Heat!!
It has been a long and beautiful road that has lead to the completion of my new album “Family”. Without the love, support, and dedication from people like all of you none of this would be possible. Throughout this journey I have gained knowledge, patience, gratitude, and even more “Family”. The risks and challenges have all been worth the glory!
I met Dran Michael and Amber Carrington three years ago, and it changed my life forever. Amber, had great success with the show “The Voice” where she was Adam Levine’s finalist on the forth season. I had the opportunity to open for Amber at a show in phoenix at the “Hard Rock Cafe’” and from there the rest is history.
I flew into Nashville with my eyes wide open and ready to write. On this first trip Amber and I ended up writing a song on this album called “Ole’ Fashion Breakup”. Dran recorded it for us and after that it was clear to me who I was supposed to create my new album with.
Shortly after, Dran introduced me to these two amazing musicians, John Thomas Price and Michael Kight, who both brought their unique talents to the table and at that point I knew I had an all star team!
Dran and I started putting songs together, building off of the song “Ole’ Fashion Breakup” and the product that we all created is this album we call, “Family”. I didn’t expect to have the deep connection that I would build with all of these musicians…….. but I’ll always be blessed for it.
I lost my best friend, family member, collaborator, and drummer Beau Leblanc in 2009 and I never thought that I would come back from it.
Then God blessed me again by bringing Dran into my life. Dran and I were able to connect in a similar way that truly made me feel the best I’ve felt since Beau had passed. When you’re able to connect with someone who is able to lift you up and bring your songs to life (like we’ve done with this album)…… it’s hard to explain but that feeling is beyond amazing.
Thank you......EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!!! Again, without your love, support and dedication, this dream would be just that....... a dream .......not a reality. #GLORY
