Give This Man a Mic!

KIRBY SEWELL is an incredible performer. Just listen to his arrangement of Bill Withers mega-hit 'Ain't No Sunshine' (1971).

Kirby always brings more to the composition than any songwriter can dream of. His intonation, body language, and passion enable us to appreciate and understand the song the very first time we hear it. The songwriter puts down the words, but Kirby Sewell adds the punctuation!

As many of you know, the award-winning Kirby Sewell Band members have, after 9 years, chosen to move forward with their separate projects. And there are several reasons for the disbanding. Not the least of which is funding.

We don't want Kirby to break his stride. He's already got a duo in development. But we've seen his well-worn equipment firsthand here at the Gallery and we want to make that the least of his worries.

In addition to a fixed stand, cable, and music stand, we will provide Kirby with a high-quality mic designed for, and worthy of a powerful blues singer.

Let's help Kirby during this transition and keep that voice booming. Let's "Give This Man a Mic!"
