Kimberley Fireworks for the 150th

The Kimberley Chamber of Commerce along with the First Saturday organizers would like to have an eye-opening fireworks display to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation.  We met with a licenced  pyrotechnician and the Kimberley Fire Department about adding this to our celebration.  We will need $8000 by May 31st for THE fireworks show.  That's between $5-10 per household. 

We we want to do this for our community where we can all celebrate fireworks together. 

We have requested funds from Heritage Canada for support but we are going to need more. 

Should there be a ban prohibiting fireworks on July 1, we will have them at Oktoberfest.
