The Kids Parents

As you are aware. The amazing Karen donated one of her precious organs- her kidney to Mark to save his life.
His life was on hold, he had no life, unable to do normal things we take for granted. He lost his brother to PKD - a inherited kidney disease 2 years ago. Mark was heading that way fast...he had hardly any kidney function left.

Karen has not only given up one of her organs, she is also now in extreme pain and will be for a while, she will be out... of work for at least 12 weeks and put her life on hold to give a life to another. SPECIAL!!!!!! If you know Karen you know she is a genuine kind good soul and is well loved by her friends and family.

What a beautiful gift .... so selfless.
Overwhelming faith in humanity restoration is what it is... the beauty of life and giving and helping others.

Mark has battled enough with losing his dad, brother, grandchild and best friend and being diagnosed with this all at the same time as well as getting me and my kids through dans death. He has battled enough!

Lots of help and support out there for cancer
..not much for kidney disease.

There were many times we tried to get Mark a kidney and lots of people wanted to help but couldnt due to their personnel circumstances. I am sure that many of his friends breathe relief knowing that someone stepped up and saved his life. I am for sure.

When my husband was dying, money was raised for us. When you are ill and laid up, trust me.. having that extra bit of cash so you dont have to worry about the gas bill or food shopping or chocolate, takes some of the strain. Being carried by your friends, its a wonderful feeling ....

Lets carry these pair of freaks to the mend.!

I know everyones skint.. xmas is coming etc etc.. but if you help... it will really make a massive difference to them.. Trust me!.. it will also put a big grin on my face. Ha ha
