Living Kidney Donor Needed For Eva Evans!

At the age of 8, Eva went into rare, sudden and unexplained kidney failure. Since then Eva has endured several hospital stays, surgeries, tests,PTSD, severe medication side effects, hair loss, fatigue, edema, depression, weight loss, 10 HOURS OF DIALYSIS DAILY and can no longer attend school full time. Eva comes from a single parent household. Eva's mother lost her job and cares for Eva full time. The Renal Data System estimates dialysis is approximately $50,000-80,000 per year. While insurance helps with some medical expenses,  it does not cover additional expenses such as increased utility costs for running dialysis equipment 10+ hours a day, transportation costs, special dietary needs,  special hair and skin care products, home school laptop and supplies, non-covered medical supplies, protective abdomen binders for her dialysis port, special pillows, bedside toilet, additional wound care, new wardrobe to accommodate her daily weight changes, car repairs and much more! Due to the level of care Eva requires, her mother has been unable to return to work. Eva's mother administers her 10 hour, dialysis treatment and pre/post dialysis care daily. She also provides all transportation to doctors visits, manages Eva's 20+ medications, injections, special dietary needs; as well as, ordering, maintenance and utilization of the 50-100 boxes of monthly medical supplies needed to maintain Eva's care. Her mother was forced to place their things into storage and move in with family to provide Eva and her sister with a place to live; as paying for Eva's care is the top priority. Eva's mother has drained her retirement,  her savings and maxed out her credit cards to provide for Eva and her sister during this difficult time for their family.
