Help get Kendyll to West Point!

Kendyll is an honors student, an avid volunteer in her community, & an aspiring West Point cadet. She is honored to have been selected to attend the United States Military Academy's Summer Leadership Experience (SLE), a unique opportunity awarded to only a small percentage of high school juniors each year.
The 2nd of 5 children of a working single mother, Kendyll has a long list of academic achievements, including top scores in many courses, ranking 3rd in the class of 2017 with a 4.0 GPA (99.27 overall), & excellent standardized test scores. Her dedication & discipline are apparent in her athletic activities as well as her 5 years (& counting!) of perfect attendance at school. She is passionate about her study of the sciences & mathematics, as well as art, literature, & music. She plans a life of service to her country & the greater good through medical research.
Like so many families, living paycheck to paycheck leaves little money for extras. Without assistance, Kendyll may miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She needs your help!
Travel costs to attend will run approximately $1000, an impossible sum for this family. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated, & will help jumpstart this remarkable young lady's bright future on the right path!
