Katherine Cancer Clear - Prove its Possible

Donation protected

Anyone who knows our mother knows just how determined, caring and brave a woman she is.  After being told by the NHS that her cancer was incurable and reduction wasn’t possible, we have gone overseas for treatment resulting in a 90% reduction of the disease.  Now having received the good news, we are out of money to afford the rest of the treatment needed to get the Cancer free scan we so desperately need.

Katherine – Our Mother

Katherine is a single parent to us both and has had to sacrifice everything for us over the years to ensure we had the best up-bringing possible. She’s the ‘cool mum’ as our friends would refer to her when we were younger or the ‘glamorous’ one as they do now.

She’s always got a genuine interest in those that she meets and always selflessly tries to help those she cares about in any which way she can.

It is now for us to do all we can for her and it breaks our hearts that we’re not in a situation to do so.

Our Story

In September of 2016 we sat in the hospital and were told that the cancer had returned and that this time it was advanced Stage IV breast cancer having spread to the liver and the bone.

We were told by the NHS that there was no cure for Stage IV and were given a two to three-year life expectancy.

Having pushed it back successfully temporarily with conventional chemotherapy from Nov 2016 to April 2017, it subsequently progressed aggressively.

We could see in the eyes of the Professor that there was now little hope and were given the option of a different type of chemotherapy which they estimated had a 30% chance of slowing the progression of the disease at best, but emphasis was on lining up a hospice for end of life care.

It was at this point that our mum had to be brave and make the decision that would ultimately save her.  She decided to go against the advice of the NHS and go overseas for alternative treatment despite her GP advising her not to fly.

We invested all we could to fund a six month course of Insulin Potentiation Therapy or ‘IPT’ in Istanbul, Turkey, which we had heard first-hand accounts of successful Stage IV Treatment.

She was initially so weak that we had to push her around in a wheelchair in order to get her to and from the clinic. Without our support she was incapable of carrying out the simplest of day to day tasks.

After just 4 weeks the improvement was astounding.  Katherine was mobile, eating, regaining strength and feeling uplifted.

As the weeks progressed, so did her condition and remarkably after 3 months Katherine was able to make the bi-monthly journey to Turkey alone.

Where We Stand

In February 2019 Katherine had her first scan through the NHS since we were last advised to line up a hospice with the report summarising: “Excellent response to treatment with complete resolution of most sites of the disease”.

We have since had further review of the scan in Turkey who have reported that there has been a 90% clearance of the disease.  We are over the moon but also now completely out of pocket and unable to afford any more treatment.

It is now vital that we continue to attack the disease and leave no window of opportunity for it to return.

Where Will the Money Go?

Having used IPT to significantly reduce the cancer, we feel we’re now in a position to eradicate the remaining disease holistically.

To do this we will continue to do many of the treatments provided by treatment centres yet doing so through local sources as well as home.
These include hyperbaric oxygen, high dose vitamin c and b12 infusions, hyperthermia treatment, juicing and various other protocols which have proved beneficial for Katherine in the past.

Ultimately, we want to be in a situation where we can afford to get Katherine to a treatment centre such as Oasis of Hope in Mexico. These however require a substantial upfront cost.

We want nothing more than for her to be able to live a life without the threat of cancer denying her of so much. We want her to live the life she deserves and live to be a grandparent seeing her family grow.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read this and cannot emphasise enough the gratitude for any support you may be able to provide.
