Karma For Cara/NYC Half Marathon 2014!

For the 2nd year I will be running the New York City Half Marathon in honor of and to raise money for Karma For Cara. Last year we raised over $5,000, and your continued support means everything!

Karma for Cara Foundation is a non-profit founded by 21 year old Cara Becker and her family while she was being treated for Leukemia in October of 2012. Cara's dream lives on through the vision and works of the foundation, her family and friends who are inspired by her example of service and interest in helping others, even when she herself was in need of help.

Their mission consists of three objectives:
1. To promote and support youth engagement and service to others in communities throughout the US
2. To work to reduce the suffering of cancer patients and their families
3. To recognize and reward individuals and organizations that are having an outsized impact in service to others due to their passion, energy and smarts
