Help us support Jesse Spurling as he competes for KIC-IT in Dancing With The Johnson County Stars (DWTJCS). This competition brings influential members of the community together in order to raise money and spread awareness for (7) non-profit organizations in the Johnson County area. Each “Star” competing will work with a dance instructor in preparation for their two song set and work to raise money for their organization.
Jesse Spurling, KIC-IT Board Treasurer, will be dancing on behalf of Kids In Crisis Intervention Team, otherwise known as KIC-IT. Our mission is to provide a network of support and empowerment for youth to break the cycle of homelessness and promote independence amongst youth ages 16-25 in Johnson County.
All money raised will be used by KIC-IT to provide food, linens, hygiene and other essential resources for survival. Additionally, funds can be used to assist with emergency housing, rent/utility assistance, and much needed counseling to young people who find themselves in dire circumstances. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and we encourage you to learn more about the agencies in your community seeking to make a difference.
