Kal's Crew Is Claiming the Victory!

Donation protected
Our brave and valiant young man, Kalvin Smack, who loves life as you see in the previously taken picture above is dealing with a very debilitating bout with Lyme's disease.  His main symptom has been an extreme handicapping case of chronic fatigue in which he cannot take part in the joys of ordinary life.  He has missed over 75% of school since he was struck with this illness late last July and life is steadily going by. Teens his age are starting to get their learner permits, enrolling in drivers ed, striving to find their very 1st job, conjuring up enough nerve to go on dates, doing chores, participating in sports and extracurricular activities, working towards their future endeavors and, at the age of 15 close to 16, he is too weak to do even the most mundane of tasks the majority of the time.

Lyme disease is not only crippling, it is a very difficult ailment to treat for several reasons:

1.)  The CDC states that just a course of antibiotics will cure Lyme's which it doesn't.
2.) Because of this lack of information, doctors don't really understand it and don't accurately diagnose/treat it. Kalvin was given several diagnosis and medications before Lyme's was considered the true culprit for all of his symptoms by his holistic doctor, Dr. Chas Gant http://www.nihadc.com/practitioners/dr-chas-gant-md-ph-d.html
3.) In addition, insurance companies don't pay for its treatment.  Please don't ask me why...I have to maintain my blood pressure...
4.) Finally, because Lyme's is so misunderstood, especially in the USA, patients like Kalvin are left misdiagnosed, given poor treatment options and/or are left to suffer for decades with debilitating symptoms without any hope of living a normal life while the symptoms become even worse with time.

We are so very blessed to have found several  practices that specialize in Lyme's disease treatment. They all have good to excellent track records with their patients. Without much help from insurance companies, we are praying that our friends, family, co-workers, loved-ones, and anyone who cares can help us reach our goal of at least $30,000+ to cover Kal's immediate medical and prescription expenses from pretreatments, treatments, and long-term post-treatments including:
At the St. Georg Klinik:
The Lyme disease treatment package includes the following:
- When needed access to doctors and nurses 24/hours a day
- Initial and Final Lab Controls
- Dark field blood analysis (this may be substituted by other tests like VCS)
- VCS (visual contrast sensitivity test)
- CRS (cell regulation screening)
- Infusions with Vitamin C, chelation, selenium, procaine and/or antibiotics
- Ozone Therapy (intravenous and rectally)
- Singulet Oxygen Therapy
- Magnetic Field Treatment
- Laser Therapy (red and green)
- Systemic Whole-Body Hyperthermia
- Detoxification Program
- Infusions/detoxification program are established by the physicians according to the individual situation of the patient

Out of all of the places that treat Lyme's disease, we are most impressed with the abovementioned St. Georg Klinik in Bad Ailbing, Germany http://lymeandcancerservices.com/ .  They provide a treatment that is not yet provided in the US.  The treatment is called  hyperthermia.  I first heard about this from the reputable WBAL TV11 NBC station based in Baltimore, Maryland.  The featured child who also has Lyme's disease sounds very much like Kalvin! Please click on the link to either read or watch the same video that I watched over and over again!
