Justin Hines Family

Justin Hines, a resident of Clovis and a Lieutenant Paramedic at the Clovis Fire Department knows that someones life can change in the blink of an eye. He has observed these life changing events for 11 years while serving at CFD. Justin and his wife of six years Amy just recently on August 4th experienced a life changing event and welcomed their third child into this world and turned their family of four into a family of five. However such a joyous and happy event soon turned into a much different life changing event for Justin, and his three children Adison, Nathan, and Tyler. On August 22nd Amy passed away following complications after giving birth to Tyler just weeks before. This tragically leaves Justin a widower, and this three children suddenly without their mommy. Two children who are at the age when they can most certainly understand to a very heartbreaking point that mommy isn't here anymore, and a new born who will never have known, let alone remember the feel or smell of his mother. Most of us cannot fathom the thought of something like this happening and we cannot let Justin do this on his own. Following the birth of a child there is always a great financial burden that parents must endure without the added unfortunate tragedy of a husband loosing his wife and best friend along with their three kids loosing their loving mother.

Justin and his family recently purchased a home in Curry county that needs quite a bit of work, at the time this probably made perfect sense to Justin and Amy, but in the recent light of events this will prove to be just another burden to Justin. Being that they had just moved in they weren't even fully unpacked yet, plus all of the repairs that have to be made. His brothers at the Clovis Fire Department are already in the process of making some of the repairs that need to be made but when it comes down to it the financial burden will fall on Justin's shoulders.

Recently Justin has also been having problems with his truck, a vital piece of property that is essential to his families every day needs. He has gotten quotes for the repairs that have averaged over 1,200 dollars. The financial burden of having a new child was already mentioned but we also have to think of the medical bills that Justin will have to pay for the care of his wife Amy after she became ill. Justin has also had to take time off from work to be with his family for the birth of Tyler and the hospitalization of his wife. Next with the cost of a funeral ranging between 7,000 and 10,000 dollars we can all see that we are looking at the tens of thousands of dollars these events will cost Justin.

Justin has for years put on a uniform and served his community selflessly. He has spent countless nights away from his family helping others deal with the worst day of their lives, because lets face it no one calls 911 and asks for the Fire Department or EMS on good days. He is the head of the public education department at CFD, helping promote the department and educate the public on fire safety. He has given a lot to this city and its people and we are humbly asking for the communities help to make sure that the next few months Justin will be able to grieve with his family without having to worry about the monetary obligations that will ultimately face him.

Thank you so much for your generous donations to help this precious family.  God bless!
