Please consider a donation to my legal fund which I have created awards for support. I am in Housing Court and potentially could lose my rights to keep my home.
I'm at risk of becoming another statistic with other rent control and rent stabilised tenants being forced out of homes that landlords convert to luxury buildings for higher rent. They have scores of lawyers to exhaust us in Court, and tenants need lawyers too.
I feel I am being harassed to leave, using all kinds of abusive tactics that will be addressed in Housing Court. Landlords stop at nothing to get us out of our apartments.
After three years of litigation, they have exhausted my l resources. Next trial is July 18, 2016.

O'Hara's fees, plus costs to get transcripts of hearings, (Certified lab tests for chemicals applied to our doors and floor) and any other unforeseen costs that could arise.
My landlord seems willing to take any measure including harming our environment and air with chemicals applied to the floor and sprayed in the air. I believe we are being harmed by these chemicals, that contaminate our air, all while fighting in Court to keep the rights to our home. It is a cruelty few can imagine as we cannot escape the air we breath.
Certified evidence is what Judges will accept and those come with fees, and costs, it's all adding up.
These chemicals cause dizziness, a burning sinus, throat, ears and eyes and prevent sleep. That, bedbugs, vermin and aggressive “fake tenants” moved in by our Management insure we are harassed night and day, making life unhappy. I am not the only one as I care for my neighbors that are disabled, seniors, otherwise housebound neighbors too afraid to report.
