Jordan's Care, Counseling & College

My seven-year-old grandson Jordan lost his caring, loving, wonderful mother Shontae' to stage 4 Breast Cancer on November 19, 2015. Shontae’ was a great, caring, loving, kind mother to her sons whom she called her "3 Kings". She was an outstanding entertainer, a great friend, happy, vivacious, generous, kind and beautiful.

I'm devastated by the loss of my only daughter, my son's only sister, and my loving grandson's only Mom. Her other two sons pictured below are old enough and responsible enough to care for themselves, but Jordan is only 7. We are all just heartbroken beyond words.I have set up this GoFundMe account to immediately assist with Jordan's ongoing care, education and emotional counseling. Jordan, as sweet as he is, was instrumental in the care of his Mom for a long time, a huge task for anyone, let alone a now 7-year-old who insisted on helping us with her.  He would say, "Grammy, no one can take care of my Mom like I can".  My response would be, "You're so right dear, and she loves you so much".  
So we are rallying around Jordan because he needs our support more than ever and always will.  Nobody gets used to not having parents, but we will do our best to help him adjust and cope with all that we have. It will certainly take a village to help raise him.
To lose a parent at such a young age is unfathomable, and for a parent to lose a child is incomprehensible.  On behalf of our family, I thank you and we love you for your support! Rest in Peace Shontae. We've got you and your baby. I love you. We love you. We miss you.
