John's Fight Against Leukemia

My little brother John's battle with leukemia started on January 24th, 2016. Just a week after celebrating his 14th birthday. When we heard the news from the doctors we didnt know what to do. You hear that your little brother has cancer, and your mind right away thinks the absolute worst things. What will we do? How is this possible? Could something have been done to prevent it? Is my little brother going to die ?
John's doctors and nurses at DMC have been amazing throughout this whole ordeal. They gave us hope and encouragement during the absolute worst times. Our friends and family have been very supportive and there for him when he needs them most.
John has been the bravest and most courageous person ever. Even with everything that he is going through he has remained the same funny, loving, caring, compassionate, and upbeat person that we all love. Although he is always in pain and going through one of the worst things a child could go through, he has kept a positive attitude and puts a smile on my face everytime i see him. My brother John is the strongest person that i have ever known, and i have no doubt that he will overcome cancer. Leukemia is just a speed bump on his journey through life.
My parent's bills are piling up, and my mom hasn't worked a full work week since finding out about John's leukemia. With one full time income and bills coming everyday it's becoming harder and harder to keep up. I would like to help my parents financially, which is why i am setting up this Go Fund Me page. I would like to give my parents hope that everything will turn out ok.
Every penny donated will be used to make sure that John has all the accomodations he requires. Thank you in advance for any donation that you are able to make. Each one of them, no matter the dollar amount will be appreciated all the same.
