Jessies Diffused Large B-Cell Cancer

My name is Mona Lomeli, and I am a mom to two wonderful boys (Damiani who is 10yrs old, and Armani who is 7yrs old), and a wife to my amazing husband Jessie Lomeli.
Jessie is not only an amazing husband, but he is such a remarkable father to our sons. He always makes sure that we are happy. The love he has for others is astounding. I could not have asked for a more amazing man in my life that I met when I was a teenager. Yes, we are the "High School Sweethearts."
The reason for this fundraiser is because Jessie has unforunately been diagosed with Hodgkins Disease. It is a type of lymphoma, a cancer that starts in white blood cells called lymphocytes. The lymph system is part of the immune system, which helps to fight infections and some other diseases. It also helps fluids to move through the body. The cancer in the lymphnodes spreads through other ducts and can spread into the bloodstream.
Jessie will begin his chemo treatments very soon, and we are waiting for the rest of the pathology report to come in. But even with this month passing by, we are already behind on bills and new medical bills. We will need to make payments for his chemo treatmets, and for his regular oncologists appointments. He will also not be able to work, which is already putting a heavy heart in our family. Insurance of $430 will be taken out of my check every two weeks because of the coverage we need for his diagnosis. We also will need to find a way to get him to and from treatments because there will come a time when he will no longer be able to drive, and I will need to continue to work full-time to pull us through as much as I can, while having our boys in school of course. Right now, he has his up's and down's of energy, and I can only imagine how much worse it can get once his chemo treatments start.
I never thought we would ever "get cancer." I've known and seen people who have had family/friends go through this, but never thought I would go through this with my own husband.
Any amount from our family and friends would mean so much to my boys, myself, and most importantly to my husband. I will forever be grateful to everyone during this time of test, that I know we will get through. Everyone is a survivor, and I know Jessie will be one too!
