Road to Miss America

Hey y'all,
I am participating in a pageant in February and I would greatly appreciate some additional help raising money for pageant expenses (gown, alterations, shoes, swimsuit, hair and makeup, interview suit, etc.).
I am a first-year graduate student in the Mayborn Institute of Journalism at the University of North Texas. I recently received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, and with my degrees I hope to shed light on the issues that affect minorities and those in lower economic situations.
If I win this title I hope to build my platform of being an example to younger girls by showing them that anything is possible-no matter what situations and society says.
I am also passionate about the state of public education in America. I believe that many of the issues that plague society have a direct link to early childhood education.
I hope to use the connections gained through this pageant to have workshops and fun outings with young girls in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area to build their confidence and speak positivity into their lives.
I would like to work closely with education-related organizations to have tutoring available to students and have after-school programs to get children more excited about learning.
If you have anything that would help me reach my goal of $500.00 by January 26th, that would be appreciated!
Thank you so much, God bless you and Merry Christmas!
