Jenn and David's Australian Dream

It’s time. Time to dig deep and make Jenn and David’s Aussie adventure a reality. Time to show them, when they need it most, that dreams really do come true.

These are two of the most giving people. They open their homes and their hearts, they feed, they house, and they never turn anyone away. Together they have already waged one war and now, sadly, it's round two as cancer is battling them again.

And so, in recognition of their generosity of spirit, we who are their friends in New Orleans and around the world, want to send them on their dream vacation, a most excellent 'Aussie Adventure'. We invite you to join us and raise the funds needed.

This very special most excellent adventure will include round-trip airfare, all the sights of Sydney; the outback spirituality of Uluru; and maybe even seats in the grandstand to watch David’s beloved Saints (St Kilda that is) play some footy!

This is a time to be positive, excited and happy that we can give back to this special couple. It’s time to get this done! We know you don't always have dollars to spare, but we want you to give even if it’s just a little bit. We ask you to spread the word, do some fundraising of your own, sell something, forego sending holiday cards, skip that extra coffee…whatever it takes.

Details of the trip may change to accommodate Jenn’s treatment and health, but as a minimum will include round-trip airfare, a stay fit for the Jamns on Sydney’s world famous harbour, a long weekend Aussie House Party at Chez Leanne, a visit to Ayer’s Rock/Uluru for the ultimate Aussie Outback Experience and some spending money for meals. Hopefully Melbourne and maybe even Cairns will be included on the itinerary, but if we can’t get Jenn and David to them, well then the Aussie contingent will just bring their part of the world to the celebrations in Sydney!
