Jeffries Family House Fire

The Jeffries family home was destroyed by a house fire on Feb 7th after being struck by lighting. They have lost all personal belonging. Any donations will be given directly to the family to assist with their immediate needs. Below is a post from Chris' facebook page.

I would like to take a minute to tell everyone that came by the house or called or sent a text that your act of kindness means more than you will ever know. To my awesome neighbors and courageous strangers, thank you for saving our dogs today. I’m not going to name names right now, but you know who you are.

 

You just never know when your life will get turned upside down. It’s comforting to know that you have friends and family you can lean on in times of need. The road ahead is uncertain and rough but we know we are not alone.

 

And I will end by saying Phenix City has its share of problems but our fire department is not one of them. They were professional, courteous, and caring. They went above and beyond to help us and we will never forget it. While the roof was falling they were still going in to fight the fire. Those guys are the best!
