My father, Jeff, has just been diagnosed with terminal lung and brain cancer. Growing up we did not have the chance to be in each others lives, however we were finally able to reunite 8 years ago, me being 21 years old and my father age 51. One week ago, my father became very sick, resulting in his doctor finding a 6cm mass on his lung. The mass was found to be malignant, as well as unoperable due to the location of it. I immediately flew out to see him, as it has been since our reunion 8 years ago that I had seem him because neither of us have been able to afford to fly cross country ( I live in Oregon, he lives in Arkansas). The day I returned home, I received the call that the cancer has spread to his brain, and that he has been given 6-9 months life expectancy. My father and I have become so close in the last few years and during my recent trip to Arkansas I was able to meet my sisters, who my father raised. It would mean the world for me to be able to fly back to Arkansas, along with my children and boyfriend, to spend as much time with him as possible while we can. He has always said he would love to have all of his girls together with him, making his family truly complete. I would like to be there for my family and stand by their side throughout this hard time, being my father's strength as well. It would mean the world to all of us. I am asking for help in purchasing the plane tickets (round trip) for my family and I to fly from Oregon to Arkansas, for us to be able to spend a few priceless weeks with my father and our family, as the few weeks I will be taking off from work will be unpaid, but allowed through the Family Medical Leave Act. I cannot express how much this means to me. Thank you for reading our story, and also for your time. God bless!

Hes able to eat a little more and has had a few really good days :-) He decided to continue with chemo and has his 2nd treatment today. So far so good!!! I couldnt be happier about him feeling much better than last time!! And im also soooo excited for Friday!! Only 2 more days and I will be back with my family!!! You all have helped so much and reaching just over half of our goal is amazing!!! Thank you all for all of your prayers and donations :-) I will keep you posted once I am back in Arkansas with my daddy!! ♡

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!
Today is Dad's 59th birthday!!! (He'd probably kick my butt for telling ya'll that he's 59 ;) lol ) Be sure to blow his phone up with happy birthday texts or calls and make this his best birthday ever!!
Update on his condition: Dad was able to go with his brothers for a ride on Wednesday :) When I talked to him that night he was so pumped, yet so exhausted. The next day he was definitely paying for it, but I know he wouldn't have changed it for the world. He starts iv chemo on Tuesday, and we are praying for the best. He is still very sick each day, and we are praying this will go away soon too.
We are over halfway to our goal right now and again I want to say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all of your contributions and prayers!!!! We love you all!!!

Hello to you all!!!! Dad seems to be handling his radiation treatment quite well :-) Monday will be the last one, and then he will have a week off before he starts his iv chemo. Hopefully his body will handle the chemo well, and will slow the spreading of the cancer down, as well as get rid of some of it!!! His spirits were greatly lifted by my amazing nephew Kasyn who raised $60 to help cure cancer by selling donuts!!! Such an caring and wonderful little boy!! He now wants to open a donut shop of his own to help cure other people ♡ Having so many caring people surrounding him has made all the difference in the world!!! Thank you all for your continued support and prayers!!!
