Help Us Bring Back Ice Cream!

We are raising a Capital Campaign to fund Java on the Creek, our Southwest Denver neighborhood coffeeshop that is locally owned by Johnny Marshall, an Army Veteran who grew up in Harvey Park and Bear Valley and graduated from Kennedy HS. We have funded our startup thus far for the past year, but are asking for additional capital to bring back ice cream! We desire to expand our efforts in order to offer sweet, creamy ice cream, savory and delicious food selections for the afternoons and hire an employee or two to be more consistent and extend our hours. Right now, Johnny is operating the business on his own. We are not in a position to be eligible for traditional financial loans to fund our venture at this time, and current revenues are just paying for overhead costs, but we want to continue serving our community and providing the very best service that we can! We need your help to continue to offer you delicious and satisfying Signature Coffees with our specialty craft coffee roasters, MORU Coffee, and savory flavorful Breakfast Burritos from Santiago's! We intend to bring in new food additions for mid to late day offerings such as, hot and cold sandwiches, soups and salads. We also want to have specialty desserts available for those sweet Date Nights on our summer extended hours, we are even bringing back ice cream (we already purchased the freezer)! We also need to purchase some new Commercial grade equipment, like a countertop oven, panini grill, and refrigeration units. Being a small business owner in my own neighborhood means a lot to me. Serving my community, just like I did in the Army, seeing my neighbors on a daily basis and bringing smiles and memories back through the naming of our menu, like the Wyatt's Salted Caramel Latte and the Cinder Alley Cinnamon Dulce Latte, inspires us to keep our doors open! We will also show our gratitude by throwing a Grand Opening/Appreciation Party for all! We will continue this funding campaign throughout this summer. We are celebrating our One Year Anniversary this month and hope to host the Grand Opening Party by June 1st.
