Jameson was born March 7, 2016.  When Jameson was born his heart was showing an arrhythmia, meaning it was skipping beats.  Upon further tests, it was discovered there was a hole in Jameson’s heart.  Mark, Rachel, and Jameson began meeting with different doctors to figure out what exactly was going on in Jameson’s little body and how best to treat him.  After meeting with a geneticist, it was revealed that all the chromosomal testing came back completely normal.  Praise the Lord!  While doctors were examining his little body they had a hard time finding his heart, and he was diagnosed with dextrocardia, which means his heart is on the right side of his chest instead of the left.  When this was discovered they also found Jameson had intestional malrotaion.  Mark and Rachel had seen the x-rays and agreed that something did not look right so surgery was scheduled.  When the surgeon went in, he found that Jameson’s intestines were normal.  Mark and Rachel KNEW that God had healed and touched Jameson.  And they knew this was the beginning of many, many, ways God was going to show Himself and have victory in Jameson’s life.

Over the last few months, Jameson has made weekly visits to different specialists to help him with therapies for mobility, development, and strengthening of his little body.  Jameson has also required the use of oxygen to aid in his breathing.  On October 11th, Jameson made an unexpected trip to the ER, as he was not breathing correctly.  Upon examination, scans, and testing it was discovered his lung was collapsed and had developed an infection.  Many prayers had been prayed over this sweet boy and after a few days, the lung remarkably began to heal.  However, it was determined due to the dextrocardia, he needed to have heart surgery.  This surgery would alleviate the pressure the heart has been placing on Jameson’s lung, hopefully allowing increased function and capacity that has been lacking.  On October 25th Jameson had heart surgery where the surgeon was successful in relocating some of the arteries that were obstructing the airway.  The successful surgery marks another big win for our Lord in Jameson’s life.  Jameson has a long road of recovery, healing, and challenges ahead of him.  We know with prayer, support, and the power of the Lord on his side, he will have quiet the victorious story to tell.

While this is a victory story to share, there remains the reality of the burden this kind of circumstance brings.  We, as Mark and Rachel’s family, are setting up this Go Fund Me page to try and help in the smallest way possible.  We want them to be able to focus solely on their sweet boy (and Jameson’s 3 big brothers).  God is equipping them daily with peace, courage, and faithfulness as they are walking through this journey.  We are hoping that through the support received through this Go Fund Me page they can be financially equipped to continue offering Jameson the best care possible.   Please consider donating to the sweet Davis family if you are able.  If you can’t assist financially, please consider praying for this sweet boy and that God’s Will will be fulfilled in his life!
