Two years ago I decided to take a chance. Enough talk about wanting to "do music full-time." Action was required. I'd been performing and writing for well over a dozen years, but had yet to leap into the wilderness inhabited by full-time independent artists. That all changed when I moved back to Madrid in August 2017. It was then I made the decision: I would make my living as a singer-songwriter and guitarist. Since then I've done just that, by performing concerts around Europe. I'm not getting rich, but I'm doing what I love.
I'm excited to announce that I've recorded my 4th full-length album, and it will be released in September! The album is titled "Kalina & Other Modern Myths," and it is now available for pre-order. In fact, that is the point of this page!
You might ask yourself, "How is pre-ordering different from just buying the album when it's released?" Good question. First, when you pre-order a physical CD of the album, it ensures that you'll receive a copy on or before the release date. I'll also send every person who pre-orders the album (digital or physical copies) an unreleased video of one of the songs on the album. It's not just any song—I think it's one of the best songs I've ever written.
Furthermore, when you pre-order my album now, where exactly does your money go?
Everything will be re-invested into my career. Initially, this support will help me recoup costs related to the new album, including:
1. The professional recording, mixing, and mastering of my 4th album of original songs.
2. The professional video recording and editing of the album recording process and all performances which appear on the album.
3. Printing costs of physical CDs and lyric books.
4. A directed PR campaign to help the album succeed.
This is an album pre-order campaign where you can pay what you want for the album. That being said, there are certain price points where you get more than just the digital download of the album.
- Donations of $10 or more will receive a free download code to new album.
- Donations of $25 or more will receive a physical CD with a lyric sheet, plus a free download code to the new album.
- Donations of $50 or more will receive download codes to all four of my albums, and a physical CD of the new album.
- Donations of $100 or more will receive the four album downloads, a physical CD of the new album, plus a forthcoming book of mine that includes poems, drawings and lyrics (book release date TBD).
- Donations of $250 or more will get you all of above, plus a house concert.
