Jackie's Medical and Final Expenses

On December 30, 2017 my mom Jackie Cowan checked into the hospital after a few months of feeling sick Just a few hours later our lives would be shattered when she would get diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and not given long to live. This whole thing has been extremely overwhelming and even more so due to the fact that she does not have life insurance, or much in the sense of assets. She has had a hard life, and never seems to catch a break, but will be the first person to give a complete stranger the last $20 she has because she feels they need it more than she does.  We sat down and discussed what she wanted for her final arrangements and they are very specific. It seems so unfair to have to call and talk to a funeral home about my mom dying when I am only 31. After tallying up all the costs it was staggering. And I am sad to say I just don't have that kind of money and even with my siblings chipping in we aren't going to be able to pay for what she wants but more importantly what she deserves. It was sad to me that the funeral she wants will cost more than most everything that she actually owns herself. So that is what brings me here. I hate to ask for help it goes against everything I am but for her I will. This isn't some round about number, it is the cost that they gave me for the services that she wants but at the lower range of things. I would never ask for help unless I knew of no other way. You will be helping me give my mother something in death that she could never have in life and I really wish that wasn't the case.
