Jason Ramkissoon Burn Recovery Help

On Saturday December 1st, 2019 Jason Ramkissoonn was competing in a Drag Race Event at the Orlando Speed World dragstrip. Shortly after leaving the starting line in the famous Big Daddy Performance Blue Supra, a fire started in the engine bay and within 4 seconds the entire car was engulfed in flames, traveling well over 120mph and had no brakes (Brake Master Cylinder already melted away).
The massive fire was burning so hot it began melting aluminum body panels of the car and quickly made its way inside the vehicle where Jason was frantically removing his race harness in order to exit the burning car. Fortunately he got out of the race harness, saving his life, but not before suffering severe burns to his face and neck as the flames penetrated through the visor area of the helmet. A handful of seconds longer and Jason easily could have been killed. The fire suit did its job and protected the rest of his vital organs and appendages with only minor injury.
Severe burns are very dangerous as the risk of complications relating to tissue damage and infection are very very high. They are also extremely painful, debilitating, and can have long recovery times.
Jason and the Ramkissoon family are well known by many in the drag racing and Toyota 2jz world. Even if not a blood relative, they are part of a large family of racers and fans of the sport that show incredible resolve, support, and caring whenever a tragedy strikes regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, politics, past history, etc. Right now my good friend, my brother, our racing family member....needs our help! With no ability to work during the recovery period, bills will stack up, and expensive specialized medical care will be necessary.
Anything you can donate, regardless of the amount, will be extremely helpful in helping Jason, his father Vijay, and their family get through this difficult time.
