Help Fund JHoe'Cya's Orbit Expander

JHoe'Cya K. Pizzagoni-Sayles was born without his left eye to Kirstyn Gianfala  in Concord, California on November 22, 2010.  He was later diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder,anophthalmia which is still being researched and possibly caused by a Chromosome duplication.
 

Nothing in Kirstyn's sonograms or other prenatal care hinted other problems. Even more unusual, according to the baby's doctor, genetic tests and an MRI of JHoe'Cya's brain showed nothing out of the ordinary. 

JHoe'Cya has had 8 cranio facial surgeries by Kaiser Oakland, Ca  Cranio facial since 8 months old. Kirstyn was never followed up with after surgeries and had a horrible social worker advocating on JHoe'Cya's behalf. Kirstyn was trying all she could to help JHoe'Cya with the very little knowledge she had of JHoe'Cya's conditon and Kaisers specialties!

Kirstyn were blessed with flight tickets and 3day stay in hotel in Philadelphia,PA to attend a
bi-annual conference which was held July2015 at Wills eye institute for a second opinion regarding JHoe'Cya's genetic disorder and  eye procedures! Kirstyn was informed the 8 surgeries for cranio facial and eye surgeries which were performed by Kaiser were completely wrong, this broke Kirstyn's heart and soul as a mother who was already asking "why and what did I do.

Kirstyn, a disbaled single mom who used to work part time in retail and attended GED school for Medical at Loma Vista Adult Ed. Kirstyn says JHoe'Cya is her blessing!

This young Single mom has very little to no support in her family or community. However, Kirstyn is facing a race against time for their beloved son. JHoe'Cya is going to need extensive medical procedures over the next couple of years. His eye sockets will have to be stretched with orbit exspansion,fat graph,lid surgery to be fitted for a prosthetic eye. 

The Byers Eye Institute, Cleft and Craniofacial Center at Stanford have come together to help Kirstyn and JHoe'Cya with these procedures. The family will have to travel often for medical care, With Kirstyn being diabled and struggling with mental health, Kirstyn doesn't have the funds necessary to help Jhoe'Cya get treatment for this rare condition. As a result, we are asking everyone to donate money to this young family. 

The funds donated here will help JHoe'Cya's family receive the help they need with ongoing treatments.
