Finding A Home

JDP Theatre Co. - a growing community theatre company , which is open to actors ages 10-25 - is looking for a new home in the Providence area. Unfortunately, quality performance spaces that match the ability of our performers are expensive and hard to find. We are asking for your support in finding our new home.  In order for our company to be able to afford a quality space and put up its first musical this January, we are looking to raise $10,000.00. 

The money for performance/rehearsal space rentals, props, costumes, set pieces, backdrops, makeup, mics, lights, scripts, performance rights, advertisement materials, etc must be earned solely through fundraising. Without funding and the ability to self-sustain, the company will cease to exist, which would disappoint dozens of children and young adults across the state who have worked with us in the past. Each year, many hopeful actors have signed up for our camps and intensive workshops, and our objective has consistently been to provide our actors with the best possible materials so that their talents can be showcased in large-scale productions that they can be proud of.
