Help me please got to the Manx once again. Why, that is hard to explain. I think you have to have raced it to truly understand. It is a drug, a powerful drug that I never want to stop. Each time I say to myself this is the mast time.. and after every Manx I leave, more excited, more motivated than before. There is nothing like it.
So why ask for help ? Excellent question, I myself struggle with the idea of asking for help. For in 18 years of racing I have never had a sponsor, I always thought that this was my addiction, and it is crazy to ask others to help. But, everything has it's limits. Every year I am getting faster, the races getting better, and I know I have more to give, so I am not ready to stop just yet.
And what is in it for you ? Well, I always try to bring my experience to you all, try and let people experience a little of the adventure I live- and it is always an adventure!
So what would the money be used for ? Well, without going into too many details, a the entries are about 750€, the ferry rides (2 boats remember) a shade over 1000€, an international race license upgrade (I already have my European license) about 400€. So we are quickly over 2000€, and that doesn't even get me there, and no word of tyres, fuel, maintenance.. we aren't even 1/2 way to the actual cost.
So there you all go. any help to relieve that burden will be so much appreciated, every euro helps. So if any of you could spare a few, you can share the experience with me.
