Tax deductible

“We are excited to use the funding from the Foundation for Health Advancement to purchase new equipment to help engage students in richer learning experiences centered on problem solving and the engineering design loop."

Our goal
The Foundation for Health Advancement provides grants to support high school student STEM projects that will increase students’ knowledge and inspire them to become innovators, researchers, educators and leaders who can solve the challenges facing our nation and our world, today and tomorrow.

The plan
Thanks to the generosity of donor contributions and a match from New Jersey Health Foundation, we already provided two grants to support STEM programs in New Jersey high schools in 2017.  We plan to continue to grow support for innovative student projects in STEM related areas.

Support STEM education in NJ – You can make a difference
Now YOU can help support worthy STEM projects at New Jersey high schools.

Your gift will provide grants to high school STEM projects that challenge students to explore concepts in innovative thinking.  To support the effort, New Jersey Health Foundation will increase your gift with a 2:1 match for gifts received by GIVING TUESDAY, November 28, 2017 and a 1:1 match for gifts received by December 31, 2017.

Every gift is important no matter what its size and 100% of each dollar donated will go directly to support STEM student projects.  And because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We hope you join us as our STEM leaders of the future begin to explore the exciting programs available at their schools.

Past Grant Recipients
The Bernards High School STEM Expansion Project will expand student resources in the existing engineering and technology classroom, allowing students to design, engineer and construct prototypes to address project creations and design challenges.

Mary Help of Christians Academy will furnish and support the creation of and utilization of a Makerspace to develop and enhance student critical skills in STEM areas.
