Independence

Hi there,
My name is April and I\'ve been in a wheelchair for most of my life. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love life and I love being creative. I love photography, graphic design and I love to travel. Not having my own vehicle really limits my independence. I\'d love to be able to go out on a beautiful day and take photos or to be able to run an errand for a friend or family member. I\'d like to be able to help someone out if they needed a ride or to pick up their kids from school. This probably sounds so simple but I want to give back and contribute more to my family.

I have finally found a vehicle that meets my needs and is the right price. It\'s a truck that has a wheelchair lift and it lets me drive right from my own wheelchair, and it has the right set of hand controls for me. 

A vehicle like this would usually cost around $40,000 - $54,000 new or used just because of the adaptations made to it.

The owner of this truck has lowered the price to $13,000. I\'ve never seen an adapted vehicle this well taken care of for this type of price.

Even though I\'ve been saving for a while I still need $5000. Finding a vehicle that matches what I need for a great affordable price is near impossible. I don\'t want to miss this opportunity so I\'m asking for help.

Having a vehicle that I can drive on my own would change my life. This truck even matches my personality with the custom paint job. I love vibrant color, I\'m a bright lively person. If you can help in any way big or small it would be greatly appreciated.
