IVF session for deserving couple

Donation protected
Imagine the one thing you yearn for, imagine it so big. And then imagine someone giving you the option to have it. Imagine those feelings you would have, the hope to finally have what you wanted. To then be told you are not entitled to it.
What did you think of? Money ? House? Car?

What about a baby? What if you were unable to produce a child?
To then have the option to potentially boost the chances of you having one through IVF. For a company receptionist to tell you on the phone, rather rudely, that you are not 'entitled to a baby' under their guidelines.

I am in the process of donating my own egg to Wessex Fertility, and when Ellan talked to me in floods of tears after being told she was no longer getting the treament paid for. There was no way I could sit back and do nothing. No one should be told they aren't entiled to have a baby.
I am going to  be doing everything I can to fundraise to gain even one session for this deserving couple. However I cannot do it by myself (as hard as I'll try) which is why I am asking for you to share our page, spread the word and please donate whatever you can.

Ellan has had a terrible rollercoaster of a life, suffering with depression and anxiety most of her teenage and adult life.  Whilst recovering from mental health struggles, she worked as a carer and a care coordinator following her passion to help other people. She was then diagnosed with Polycysitc Ovary Syndrome after years of nagging doctors and was told she would be able to have a few sessions of IVF paid on the NHS. After this, she then had this decision taken away from her based on the fact that her partner has a child from a previous relationship. All through this, despite tears, she has kept strong and I cannot think of a more kind and caring person, that is more deserving of this.
It's absolutely heart breaking for her and everyone involved and I want to do my best to help.
SO I need help to raise at least £5320  so Ellan and Mitch, can at least have the chance of trying IVF, without having to worry about money.
They are hoping to continue with IVF treatment with ARGC in London.

This is completely my own idea and I am aiming to create a group of people who will help me fundraise within the community on the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth an Southmpaton area.

A diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is devastating for any woman, especially at the age of 23.
PCOS despite it's name is actually next to nothing to do with the ovaries. It's a hormone imbalance. In women with PCOS their Androgen Hormone (testosterone) levels are too high, and their Oestrogen levels are far too low, which then suppresses ovulation. PCOS patients also have what is called insulin resistance, causing their pancreas's to produce more to maintain their blood sugar levels. They also have increased Lutenising Hormone (LH) levels, this is produced in the pituitary gland in the brain. Increased LH + Excess insulin + Extra Testosterone = NO OVULATION.

The process is not guaranteed and is very costly.

£3950 covers - pre treatment screening for both Ellan and Mitch. And also Medical, nursing, and embryology consultations + follow ups, ultrasounds, counselling, egg retrieval, sedation, embryo transfer, blastocyst culture
and anyone early pregnancy scans.

£1200 covers stimulation and fertility drugs throughout the treatment .£80  Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority Fee.

All of us will be so grateful if you can share or contribute in anyway, whether that might be donating or fundraising.

Thank you so much
