Located on the calm northern end of the Gold Coast, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG.) It is IHG’s first Australian InterContinental Resort, as well as Queensland’s first InterContinental branded property.
Towering over one of Australia’s favourite stretches of coastline, Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise hotel is perfectly nestled between the Surfers Paradise entertainment strip and Broadbeach’s chilled local shopping and dining scene and is also a part of the IHG Family.

Launched in 2016 as a refresh of previous long standing global funds, the IHG Foundation helps set the foundations for stronger, healthier, more prosperous communities around the world. Through the IHG Foundation, the IHG Family focus on helping communities develop hospitality skills, supporting those impacted by disasters, encouraging grassroots community groups, and protecting the environment. Through supporting community projects across the globe, we are doing our part to make local communities better places to be for all.
On 19 September 2016 the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise teams will be embarking on a 55km walk from Coolanagatta to Sanctuary Cove Resort to raise money for the IHG Foundation. One of a number of fundraising activities undertaken across the year, the team are hoping to raise $8,000.00 from this event to contribute to the global fund, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
