Building a Family Foundation for your Future

The current Islamic Forum is a rental unit which limits us in many aspects one of them being the large sum of money we pay for rent each month. With your help we can build a Mosque that is our own.

If just 1000 remarkable lovers of Allah donated $100, we would be able to complete the next phase of construction by this summer! The Messenger of Allah alayhi salam was the most generous of people, will you follow in his lead?

WHO YOUR INVESTING IN

The Forum is run by a prominent Imam who has a tremendous amount of insight, experience and ability to impact knowledge in whatever level a Muslim might be in. The Forum is dedicated to helping Muslims in all facets of their lives and offer a variety of activities. We have established a community not based on nationalistic or ethnic mentality, it is a center that caters for the needs of families, women and children. We offer an environment that is inclusive, a true representation of Islam and a community where colour, gender, country, ethnic and race is irrelevant. An environment that encourages learning, support and where people can feel a sense of belonging. You’re not just investing in a building, your investing in your Deen, the next generation, and generations to come. For every person who takes their Shadha, prays or reads the Holy Quran in this new house you receive rewards.

Some of what we offer:

~Marriage and Family Counselling
~Foodbank -- for Muslims and non-Muslims alike
~Janazah (Islamic Funerals)

The Needs of the Muslim Community

Given that we are surrounded by non-Muslims, their perception of Islam is negative and stereo-typical, we are synonymous with violence and terrorism. The community needs an avenue that expresses the true spirit of Islam to the public.

The community needs Islamic Leadership and worshippers that are reflective of the morals, values and commitments that is embodied in the Deen of Islam. The community deserves an all-inclusive tough issue tackling organization and leadership that deals with issues on Islam. The Muslims need somewhere and someone to turn to when they have religious and personal questions. The community needs an avenue to do Da`wah activities to our non-Muslim neighbors and coworkers. The community needs someplace where they can practice Islam with their families with a feeling of ease and belonging. The Muslims need leadership that are consistent and informative and able to deal with current events as they happen around the world. A place where they can learn about their obligations to Allah and His Messenger, to their religion, their families and themselves. A forum that recognizes the social ills that afflicts our youth, both girls and boys, parents and relatives.

An organization that takes stands on issues in accordance with Islam not in respect to pleasing a segment of the community, where people are treated equally based on their Islam and not their status. Where right is right and wrong is wrong.

Brothers and Sisters in Islam and humanity, welcome to the Islamic Forum of Canada under the leadership of Imam Faisal, this is what we are and will always be.

What others have to say about the Forum (IFC)

"When I first visited IFC it felt like I was coming home. The people felt like family. The sisters were warm and inviting. The brothers were cheerful and respectful. In a short time from my first visit I was a regular volunteer and I felt I belonged to something special. I appreciate that the IFC has an ample space for sisters to pray, learn, and be contributing members to the community. Sisters are encouraged to have a voice and take a lead on masjid events. Children are always welcomed at IFC and the IFC is mindful that is it these children that will be the leaders of the community in the future, Inshallah. Through the IFC I had made family for life - from meeting my husband to my sisters in halaqa.  The bond we all share is incredible and I pray Allah SWT keeps us together not only in this duniya, but in the next.”
- Afshan Malik Rahman

“At ifc I found a place I belong. A loving family mosque that welcomes you with open arms. The spiritual energy here is also amazing and I know I’ll be coming here for life! Love it.”
- Atia Noor

"IFC is our authentic spiritual connection to Allah and His Messenger (s)."
- Rasheed Walizada

“I think having an open concept masjid is amazing because it gives women access to the Shaykh as well. It’s nice to be included in the masjid activities and not feel segregated to an extreme where we can’t even say salaam or ask a question to the Shaykh. Also I like that children are welcome. Shaykh always encourages us to bring our kinds, no matter if their is a halaqa or seminar going on. The children are never forced to be "quiet" even if we are praying or doing dhikr. I've never felt like I couldn't bring my kids to IFC. This is something that I have always loved about the Islamic Forum and something that you can’t find in many other masjids."
-Juveria Syed

“IFC means to me a place where I can bring my family and kids to grow as a human being. To learn Islam also put into practice what has been learned. So it's practical knowledge.”
-Fazle Saifullah

“IFC is a place of spiritual nourishment like no other. I have learned so much from Shaykh Faisal over the years, and have formed friendships qnd connections with some of the most kind-hearted people ive ever met. I pray that Allah bless the activities of the forum and allow us to complete the new masjid so that more people can benefit, Insha'Allah.”
-Sabrina Saifullah

“I moved my whole family from living in Ajax to Brampton just so I can be close to the Forum. I think that speaks volumes about the type of inclusive community it is. I have had so much spiritual growth; the Forum is my second home.”
-Nur Hassan

“"Caring for Humanity, One Soul at a time." This is their sole mission, and I experience it everytime I go to IFC. You will not find a place that provides better programs or services than they do, all backed by a world-renowned Shaykh.”
- Mike Korn

The Forum is dedicated to bringing better services to the community such as:

~ Permanent Islamic Schools
~All Sisters program – Sunday Family program and Wednesday play group
~Quranic memorization programs
~A Da`wah training center
~A Muslim driving instructional school
~A Forum for business opportunities through partnership with major corporations, the Government on all levels, the Banks and professionals
~A Muslim dental office
 ~An employment agency
 ~A Muslim dental office

Allah willing, the vision is endless but your effort and help is needed to make this a reality.
