RMHS IBAP Program

http://lichange.org/schools/rio-mesa-high-school/ ‌IBAP is a program that helps a team of youths step into leadership roles by partnering them with developing businesses in Nigeria. Currently, our team of six high school students is hoping to raise money to start up a printing press business and to help a catering service further develop.
With the money we raise, employees of these businesses will receive skills and training that they will take with them throughout their lives. The growth of these services will also benefit people around them. As the catering business grows, it could create more jobs for the areas it services. Additionally, a printing press would increase the accessibility of printed information for schools, improving the quality of education children receive. So, with your donation you would be helping make such an immensely positive impact on these people's lives.
The word "business" is often synonymous with profit, but in our case, it is not. These businesses are in the developing country of Nigeria, just in their infancy. They are not working for a large monetary gain, but for their wellbeing, as well as their families.

Why are we doing this?
Ultimately, we are raising money on GoFundMe and dedicating time so that we can give Rabi Sani, a young women with dreams, the tools she needs to flourish. Rabi deserves the chance to succeed, just like everyone else. We are doing this for her, and everyone else she comes into contact with. We are fighting to make an impact on her life and the lives of others in Nigeria, even if they are half a globe away, because we can actually make a real difference in someone's life, no matter the distance. It enables us to assist the growth of families in the developing world. We are a part of this program because it lets us improve lives and create change in communities across the world. We know we can have a real, lasting impact on people's lives.
