Hello,
My name is Zuri Hodge. I am the daughter of Lindel 'Chef' Hodge (2 time Olympian for the BVI) and I am a belonger to the BVI. As many of you have heard Hurricane Irma has developed into one of the most castastrophic hurricanes in history. The eye of the storm has just passed over the British Virgin Islands. Tortola, BVI is the home to many including a large portion of my family. On top of enduring the horrendous storm, Tortola underwent a major Tropical Wave just last month where some lost their homes and everything they owned. Many were still repairing the island and recovering from the wave when Irma hit. Please consider donating so we can help these people get back on their feet. 100% of the proceeds will be given to the BVI in order in order to provide goods and services to these people who have lost so much!The funds will also be needed in order to help restore homes and the general land.
If you would prefer to donate goods and supplies, there is a Red Cross located on the Island or contact me to be provided with an address for where to send things.
