Hunter's Hill @ The SAE School

Hunter is an 11 year old boy with a gentle soul and zest for life. Since he was born, nothing has come easy for him. Born with a rare genetic chromosomal deletion, he has fought not only to survive, but to thrive! He continuously surprises me (mom) with his desire to do well and please everyone.

Like most parents, I have always wanted the best for my son, and so when Janet Rau and Jimmy Arispe asked me nearly 6 years ago if I wanted to join them in creating a school (The SAE School) that would serve a diverse group of learners in our community, I eagerly accepted! At The SAE School, Hunter is able to be his own unique person while continuing to be challenged. I am so excited for the Kangaroo Jumper to be incorporated into our school PE program. It is something Hunter loves, and I know all the students will enjoy and benefit from “Hunter’s Hill.” - Kim Rowan, Hunter's Mom
