Hope for the Petrov Family

I’m writing to notify all of you of a tragic situation currently happening to the life of one of our employees. Petar Petrov, one of our new car sales managers has been put on leave of absence from Sonic Automotive because he is stuck in Antwerp, Belgium with his family while his wife is fighting for her life.
Petar left on Friday, November 18th to fly to Antwerp, Belgium after months of stress regarding his brother in law to be with his sister and her two kids while they struggled with the impending loss of their husband/father who suffers from MS.
A few days into their visit in Antwerp; Petar and his family were out in the city…Petar left his wife and two kids for a few minutes to go into a nearby store, while he was in there he heard screams coming from outside and ran out to find that his wife had been hit/crushed by a construction wall that they were walking by; the scaffolding holding up the building fell. She was rushed to the hospital and had to have her skull opened to relieve the pressure from her brain swelling, she was induced into a coma with minimal chance of survival and has been in a coma since that day. This has been a considerable ordeal in more ways than one for Petar; his sister, nieces and nephews are about to lose their father and his wife has life threatening injuries in a foreign country where the hospital staff are not as kind to families/patients as they are here. Petar has been asked daily for payment for her care. He has been in touch with the U.S. Embassy and is not only struggling with the reality that he might lose his wife and his kids might lose their mother but being in a country where payment takes precedence over life and psychological care.
At this moment in time; Petar and his family will truly benefit from any contribution you make to this situation.
