Hillary Lister & Maine Matters

You may not know Hillary Lister by name but you certainly know her work in the state house. Ms. Lister has spent the better part of the last 12 years serving through her activism and tireless dedication to the land and people of Maine. Her work this session researching and opposing the open pit mining bill, acting as a watchdog on DHHS changes to the law, and speaking up on behalf of patients and caregivers of the state's medical cannabis program has already seen huge success. In winter of 2015 she founded Maine Matters, a government research and consulting firm, with the goals of continuing her work and lending her keen eye and experience to others who are joining in the work to ensure that Maine, and her people, thrive and survive.
