Ecuador's Earthquake Victims
Donation protected
A Powerful Earthquake Rattled Ecuador.
The magnitude-7.8 quake was centered on Ecuador’s sparceley populated fishing ports and tourist beaches, 170 kilometers (105 miles) northwest of Quito, the capital. An emergency situation was declared in six of Ecuador’s 24 provinces. At least 77 people were killed and 588 were wounded.
The USGS originally put the quake at a magnitude of 7.4 then raised it to 7.8. It had a depth of 19 kilometers (12 miles). At least 55 aftershocks followed, one as strong as 6 on the Richter scale, and authorities urged residents to brace for even stronger ones in the coming hours and days.
This is the strongest earthquake to hit Ecuador in decades, and this type of quake can collapse buildings, destroy infrastructure and cause tsunamis.
Here In South Florida I work together with Artisans in the Communities that have been deeply hurt and impacted with this natural disater. They need a Helping Hand to cope with the pain and sadness they are going through at this time.
Any small donation will help to bring them medicine, food and clothing.
For Transparency with all the donor's and their generosity I was asked to provide the following:
