Typhoon Yolanda: Help remote Capiz

BACKGROUND & PURPOSE:
Everyone has seen the massive impact of typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) and earthquakes on the Philippines.
Private and public properties were destroyed, lives were taken and many people try to reconstruct a situation they can "˜call' live again. Help from different countries, organizations and foundations is overwhelming and we are very thankful for that. However, as the main focus of these supporters is on areas such as Leyte, Samar, Cebu, Bohol, Aklan and others, some remote areas are not on the radar screen for help and, in our belief, need help from us 'the locals'. Our focus is on the remote region of CAPIZ. Capiz is a province composed of 16 municipalities. 95% of livelihood, infrastructure and agriculture were damaged by typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). 6 people died, 10 are still missing, and many suffer from injuries and devastating circumstances.
TEAM & GOAL:
We are a team of Philippines and Europeans with different backgrounds (doctors, entrepreneurs, local tourist managers) with the common goal to help the remote province of CAPIZ with: Man power, knowledge, funds and enthusiasm for the better.

MISSION & USE OF DONATIONS:
Relief and rehabilitation of the typhoon victims, especially addressing the very pressing need of food, clean water, clothes and medicines. On December, we are aiming to build roof for 5,000 families to provide shelter before Christmas arrives. Depending on donations we might rebuild the school for the local children. To get started we need any support we can get including monetary donations but also any other support you might want to offer, just reach out!
