Almost 20 years ago when I lived in South Africa as a 10 year old child, I had severe pain in my left leg. After 6 months of tests, the doctors decided to do an intense hip surgery. I almost died from bleeding so much but a fter a few months of not walking, I began to walk again and do normal activity. My parents never thought to send me for another check up or do any sorta of therapy. By the time I went to see the chiropractor in my late 20's, my left leg was a half inch longer than my right. My hip had fallen out the socket and I had been walking around in immense pain for years. It began to get worse and a few months ago I literally couldnt walk or even get myself water.
About 9 months ago in Boulder Colorado, my sleep began to get disruted by different trypes of pain on my body. It became harder to eat food because of all the pain I was in so i finally got a stool test and found out I had 2 deadly parasites. I may have gotten them in Nicaragua or Haiti while doing relief work after the earth quake. I could have been sick for over 5 years now without noticing but once I began to lack rest and food, my immune system crashed. I tried detoxing which became so intense I had kidney stones for months. I was constantly dehydrated and my intestines were continuouly in pain. I got to the point where I felt like death and anything seemed better than the pain I was suffereing. I finally took went to the hospital where I got a CT scan and all they said was I had a benign cyst on my ovary and I need to go to the regular doctor. I finally made it to a family doctor who tested me for other parasites and found I had another kind of parasite. They gave me a medication called Flagyl which seemed to help me feel better the first week or two. I started eating more and sleeping some with the help of my girlfriend.
Even though I began to feel better, after a few days of less sleep and hard to digest food, I have become very sick again. I have not been able to work since June and I have no help from my family in South Africa. I am trying to survive in Boulder, Colorado and I have no money for food or housing, I just need some help, any help, someone, please?? I need a community of people to help, not just 1. I am always willing to help when I have the opportunity and once I am better, I will be starting a Healing Retreat for beautiful souls who need nurturing. Everyone deserves a chance to live in a place of rest and to get help from a community of people who truely love them.
