Mari's Breast Cancer Recovery

Before the start of summer 2017, Mari Abercrombie was diagnosed with breast cancer. While the prognosis was good, Mari and the Board of Directors felt it was necessary to put Windover on hold for the summer while Mari had treatment and time to recover.
Now, Mari and Windover need your help more than ever. Windover relies on Maine's short summers to generate enough revenue for its activities and salaries. And so without Windover summer camp, Mari and Windover are without income this year.
We we need your help. In addition to medical bills, illness put an additional financial burden on those it affects by taking away their income, too. That’s why we’re trying to raise $2,000 for Mari, to help out with her loss of income due to breast cancer.
Mari has supported the Bangor community with Windover for 25 years without missing a single summer until this year. Let's give back to Mari for all of her hard work!
