Support for Joe Reynolds and Family

Greetings,
We have loved everyone who has blessed us, and provided us to be surrounded joy. Thank you for reaching out to us.
UPDATE (7/8/19):

After a tough radiation, and unsatisfactory results from Temozolomide, Joe has been on Avastin for the past 9 months. Tumor growth was stalled during that time and symptoms greatly improved, but he is now starting a new challenging situation... the latest review has shown that areas in his left temporal lobe has begun to grow again.

We are confident God chooses our family to come out of the difficult time, but show others how He moves.

Shortly, Joe will be be sent to various locations in order to find a cancer research center that can advise on next steps.
Locations to be seen are:
New York City (MSKCC, NYU-Langone)
Boston (Dana Farber)
Chicago (Cancer Centers of America)
and/or San Fransisco (UCSF)

At the start of our journey we reviewed 3 places before settling on NYU for surgery. Now we must review new options and try clinical trials.

One year ago today Joe had a craniotomy at NYU Langone to remove tumor from his temporal lobe. TODAY,  Joe is fighting and surrendering ... but feeling strong! He is receiving twice infusions a month of Avastin to control swelling and blood flow to remaining tumor. He is reading again and getting fit! His diagnosis today is Stage 4 Glioblastoma, but we don't wear that label around. We will continue these treatments and regular MRIs to track brain activity. Our last TWO MRIs (November 2018 and January 2019) show no confirmed new growth and even some shrinking! Please continue to pray for our family. We are ever learning and growing. We did attempt to be a part of an Immunotherapy clinical trial in October which fell through. We will wait on the Lord and take any and every new "option" to eradicate this cancer to Him for guidance.
We are leaving this GoFundMe open for the future- travel for second opinions? New treatments? Medical expenses unforseen?
We are SO grateful to each of you for your support and love. Your financial generosity blows us away.

Hello Reynolds Friends and Family!


I met Joe and Danielle before they were “Joe and Danielle” and have had the privilege of seeing them grow as a couple and as a family. I recently met them for breakfast, and part of our conversation was about opportunities for them to create memories together. There’s a trip they’d like to take together that is far from home and requires funding to make a reality.

I know I’m not alone in saying how blessed I am by Joe, Danielle, and their boys. I’d like to commit to helping make this family trip a reality, but it’s going to require help from family and friends. Danielle and Joe are on board and have picked a tentative week to go on this family trip... to Walt Disney World! Some friends have already committed to helping with key parts of this week-long adventure like gifting park tickets, some meals, some housing, and ground transportation. But some major parts that still need to be funded include: flights for a family of 5, some special family dinners out, some off-park activities, a Disney photopass package, and 2 nights at a special location.
