According to WHO, 842,000 people in low- and middle-income countries die as a result of inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene each year, representing 58% of total diarrhoeal deaths. Poor sanitation also contributes to malnutrition. For poor girls, the start of their menstrual cycle hinders their involvement in daily activities, and often keeps them home from school for up to a week at a time.
HelpHygiene team will be travelling to India in December to provide Hygiene products to those living in impoverished communities (slums) in Calcutta, India. All the proceeds from fundraising campaign will be used towards this project.  For the Homeless, sometimes Hygiene is the last priority. They have to worry about food, water and shelter. But with the help of kind supporters like you if we can help them with hygiene needs, then we can make a lasting impact on their health. We hope that, even with gestures as small as these, we can help make a difference for the people in our community. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
