Baby Cameron!

My sister Nicole has been with her boyfriend Harley for just about 10 years.  Over the last few years Nicole and Harley had been trying to start a family.  After being devastated by miscarriages back to back, Nicole was pregnant again.  This time was different, everything was perfect during pregnancy and they were so excited to bring their baby boy home. 

Shortly after Cameron was born Nicole and Harley learned that there were some concerns with his health. Numerous tests have been run and all have come back negative.  All we know is that Cameron has a very rare genetic condition.  There are still a lot unanswered questions regarding a diagnosis for Cameron and what the future will look like for their little family. 

Cameron has been in the NICU at Children's Hospital in Winnipeg since he was born on September 15, 2016.  As of right now he is currently requiring respiratory support on a CPAP machine and is having surgery in January 2017. Nicole and Harley have no idea when little Cam will be coming home.

The unexepected cost and financial stress of going to and spending time at hospital a few times a day has taken a financial toll on the family.  It is also uncertain what Cameron is going to need at home for medical supplies and if there are going to be futher costs above what is covered by Manitoba Health.

Nicole and Harley have been extrememly thankful for all the love and support they have recieved from family and friends.
