Help AAMHO with Flood Renovations
Donation protected
AAMHO's primary purpose is education and the support of legislation that will enhance the manufactured home life style. We monitor and oppose that legislation which is unfavorable towards park residents.
Because of a disastrous water flood in our office suite funds have been greatly depleted! To continue with our purpose we need your help to recover those lost funds.
Our Story:
On Monday morning March 27, 2017, Office Manager, Connie Hancock, arrived at our office to find the entire suite floor flooded with exterior water.
She immediately turned off the main water valve to the suite and contacted our insurance provider. With approval of the insurance provider, ServiPro was contacted to perform the water extraction, and test for asbestor and mold. The leak proved to be the water valve to the irrigation system that had stayed open for many hours causing exterior water to leak through the bottom of the ceiling to floor windows! Plans were made to remove the grass and irrigation system along these windows and reconstruct the office interior.

During the initial evaluation of damages, mold was discovered in the kitchen and restroom. So, once the office was back in operation, both of these rooms were renovated, as well.
Restoration work is expensive and there is a $5,000 deductible on the insurance policy. Over the years, our accountant has had us record a depreciation on the building each year - resulting in the insurance being limited to the building's current value.
Because of this vast expense, AAMHO is asking for your help to recover the funds paid out for this disaster, so we can continue to help improve upon the manufactured home life style in Arizona.

AAMHO's primary purpose is to propose and support legislation that will enhance the manufactured home life style. We monitor and oppose that legislation which is unfavorable towards park residents. Every bit of funding helps!
