My name is Collette and I am raising money to help my fur baby Pepper. Pepper is a toy Pom who my friend Julia and her hubby Tim rescued a few years ago.
We have no idea who dumped this dog along the road but we are so happy that her husband found Pepper when he did. She had black teeth and was skinny and her nails were corkscrewed they were so long. My friend took her in and named her Princess. Julia nursed her back to health but could not keep her as her other dog bullied her.
This is where Princess (whom I then named Pepper due to her joyful personality)came to be with me. I was looking for a small dog and Julia told me about Pepper and asked if I would like to take her in. Once I met this gentle , loving little girl, I fell in love with her and have had her ever since. About a couple weeks ago I noticed that she had a small lump in her back teat. Now it has grown in these last 2 weeks into a VERY LARGE lump and has to be removed. We won't know if it is cancer or not until the surgery ...Prayers that is just a benign nodule.
Pepper has been through so much in her little life and I just want to help make her final years as happy and healthy as possible for her. In order for me to help her, I need some help financial help and prayers from you.
I have some of the money needed but since my husband died December 2014 I have been doing all I can to have her shots, my household bills etc paid each month with next to nothing left over.
The amount I need in order to cover her surgery and medicines she will need after surgery is about 250.00
Any amount you can spare will be greatly appreciated and the ENTIRE amount raised will be used for Peppers surgery and post opp care.
