Tessa's Fund to Escape Michigan

My name is Tessa Astra, as some may know me, I live in the Salad Bowl of Michigan - Hudsonville as a transgendered female in a household of conservatives.
I want to start by saying, thank you very much for taking time out of your day to read this. Thank you so very much.
Second, my living situation is the main reason why I am making this. I live in an oppressive household that constantly ignores the fact that I am transgendered, and keeps holding me back from what I want to do - start my future and transition.
All of the funding is going to moving me out to Colorado, get an apartment, and keep me there for good. $2,259 may seem like a lot of money, but it's extra cushion in case I can't find work immediately.
Q: But Tessa, why do you wanna escape Michigan and go to Colorado? Why not just move somewhere else in Michigan?
A: Because Colorado is where my Fiancé lives. I kind of want to get away from all my family due to very, very personal reasons.
Q: Why should we donate? What's in it for us?
A: I honestly don't have much to give beyond my eternal love and thanks. Every little bit helps and I cannot express how appreciative I am of you and your help. Maybe my Fiancé can draw some pictures for you, or I can write some custom music for you if you got a project going on? I don't have much in the ways of paying you back, but trust me - I will find a way.
Q: Why not find better work opportunities?
A: To put it simply - my parents, whom I currently live with, take a portion of my money depending on how much I'm making. That's how they determine "rent." Their only suggestion for not having so much rent and paying them so much is to go to school and gain a bunch of debt that way, This schooling option also impedes working and saving, as I'm *still* going to be paying them rent, at the cost of having less hours to work. It's not going to help either way, unfortunately.
