Tank (also know as Tankers) is our happy, silly and adored, 11 year old American Staffordshire Terrier (Pit-Bull). He has changed/touched the hearts of many with his sweet loving soul since we adopted him from a local Rescue shelter 8 years ago (Shout out to Easel Rescue Group/Ewing). He is an ambassador of his breed and changed the minds of many people and overcame the negative stigma that most people believed of pit bulls. He has been our smile when we are sad, our protector when needed and a buddy to those who love to sit and cuddle! He is our world and our Fur baby and he was just diagnosed with the most heartbreaking diagnosis, CANCER. So far Tank has been through 2 Biopsies, Ct Scans and numerous treatment plan consultations. These biopsies determined that Tank has what is called a Chondrosarcoma (cancerous growth of the connective tissuesin the body). Treatment plan consultations determined that the best way for Tank to beat cancer is to have surgery to remove his cancer and to follow with radiation shortly after to ensure he is cancer free for quite some time. Tank still has surgery, radiation, another Ct scan, and numerous follow-ups. His medical bills are piling up quickly and medical cost is needed up front for Tank to receive treatment (I have added pictures of Medical Bill Estimates from Vet for a few of his procedures). We were not prepared for the total cost to treat his cancer and are putting every spare cent toward his needs but are falling up short. We are asking for your help to save Tank and help him beat cancer. Thank you in advance for your support and any assistance you might be able give!
