Samantha Blinn been affected by an unknown neurological movement disorder. This has left her with tremors that have made her wheelchair bound and limited use of her arms. Bonjour! I'm Samantha and I have Behcets Disease, a rare autoimmune disease, and I've also been diagnosed with an unknown neurological movement disorder and suspected Dystonia. Previously, I had been diagnosed with Conversion Disorder or Functional Neurological Disorder. After many evaluations from numerous doctors, they have determined that I have an unknown motor neuron movement disorder. This disorder is causing tremors, spasms, toes and fingers curling, cognitive impacts, speech, balance issues. I am completely wheelchair bound and need assistance even to go to the restroom. Last year, I fell ill and for months was admitted to 4 hospitals. It is 24 hours of tremoring, spasming, finger and toe curling...even in my sleep. Due to being disabled, I had to leave my job. The sudden loss of income and medical bills and basic living expenses is scary while awaiting disability assistance which can take years. I decided to start a video journal to hopefully help others and help myself. It's scary, frustrating and a pain in the tush! i am really putting myself out there with this journal so please be kind.
